Dr. Noel Wheeler moved to Melbourne from New Hampshire, where he was in practice for 4 years. He underwent graduate medical education at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, and then worked in a community hospital in Calcutta, amassing a wealth of experience in the fields of internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and obstetrics. After moving to the US, he underwent his Internal Medicine training at Texas Tech University at El Paso, Texas. This was followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, Connecticut/Yale University and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Wheeler enjoys the different aspects of his clinical practice. The intensity of his work in the ICU is balanced by his love of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. His well rounded experience in various fields of medicine have served him well and enable him to see his patients as a whole rather than a sum of parts. Dr. Wheeler looks forward to serving his patients with dedication, compassion, and the highest quality of care. |
