Dr. Dhruv is a certified, licensed and much honored physician, practicing Endocrinology with Medical Associates of Brevard. Dr. Dhruv's areas of specialization include Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She is an attending physician at Wuestoff Medical Center Melbourne, and Vice President of the Medical Staff and Chairman of Endocrinology and Medicine at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Dr. Dhruv is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology. Dr. Dhruv's educational credentials are notable, including a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University in 1987, Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of Georgia in 1991, Internship and Fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in 1994 and 1997, respectively. Several of Dr. Dhruv's many honors include Chief Endocrine Fellow, Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation and Edward McKay Nixon Memorial Scholarship, plus Math and Science Awards from Georgia Tech and membership in both Alpha Epsilon Delta Society and Phi Sigma Society. Dr. Dhruv has also been awarded an Endocrine Fellows Foundation Grant, a Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Scholarship. Additionally, Dr. Dhruv has done extensive research and presentations in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, which keeps her on the leading edge of treatments for all of her patients. |
