A dedicated physician for over twelve years, Dr. Bakshi has a wealth of knowledge and depth of experience that is a most valuable asset to Medical Associates of Brevard and its many patients. After acquiring his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University College of Medical Science in 1986, Dr. Bakshi served a Rotating Intership in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, ENT, Orthopedics, Preventative Medicine, Psychiatry and OB-Gyn at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India. He also served a Junior Residency in Orthopedics and Pediatrics at that same hospital, which he followed by working in private practices for the nest five years. From 1992 to 1996, Dr. Bakshi served another internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Harlem Hospital Center, in New York City, where he won the Chief Residents Award for excellence in overall performance. Dr. Bakshi has also been the Medical Director for the South Central Primary Care Center in Ocilla, Georgia, where he managed two primary care offices, worked in the Emergency Room at the Irwin County Hospital and managed patients at the River Willows Nursing Home. Dr. Bakshi has also worked as Emergency Room Physician at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia prior to joining Medical Associates of Brevard. |
